Phlebotomy, Certificate of Career Preparation

The Phlebotomy program, prepares the student to take the national Examination required to work in the field of Phlebotomy. Students will complete didactic training and clinical training in a licensed laboratory setting. Once  hours are finished and they have completed didactic training with a letter “C” or better the National Examination can be taken. After successful completion, a state phlebotomy license can be obtained.

1. Demonstrated compliance with state and federal standards of practice for certified phlebotomy technicians, measured by successful completion of clinical training and written exam
