The Certificate of Career Preparation in Fundamentals of Welding is designed to provide students with a basic background in welding and metal fabrication. Students will be introduced to safety procedures, use of gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and oxyacetylene welding (OAW), consumables & welding equipment, and proper welding techniques.
