The 3D Computer Animation Certificate of Career Preparation is designed to teach students the necessary software, skills, and tools utilized in today’s Computer Animation field. Students will use cutting edge software (Maxon Cinema 4D), which is an industry standard software package. Students will learn object modeling, file organization, material management, logical animation timing, lighting and shadows, Mograph, and all aspects of Computer Animation. This Certificate of Career Preparation prepares the student for immediate entry into a vocational field related to computer animation, apply their skills as a freelance artist/animator, or continue their education in this field. This degree requires 12 units/4 courses (CIS 130 , CIS 131 , CIS 132 , & CIS 133 )
