The two-year registered nursing program at Palo Verde College is designed to prepare the student with the knowledge and clinical skills required to assume the responsibilities of an entry level registered nurse. Upon graduation the student receives an Associate Degree in Nursing and is eligible to take the national licensure examination to become a registered nurse. ALL prerequisite courses must be completed with a 2.5 GPA, or better, BEFORE applying to the ADN-RN Program. Students need to meet with a nursing advisor to ensure that all prerequisites are completed.
