The CalGETC Certificate of Achievement certifies that a student has successfully completed the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (CalGETC), satisfying lower-division general education requirements for transfer admission to both the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. Completion of this certificate streamlines the transfer process and demonstrates academic preparation in critical thinking, communication, quantitative reasoning, arts and humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Students must meet minimum grade requirements as specified by transfer institutions. This certificate does not guarantee admission to any university or major program.
