ADS 108 - Family Dynamics of Addictions

Description: This course is designed to provide an in-depth look at alcoholism and substance abuse on the family dynamic. In this course, the etiology, symptomology, and treatment of the effects of addiction on family system will be examined. The student will learn to identify patterns of family dysfunction and the impact of chemical dependency on family members. In addition, the student will learn family-oriented approaches to recovery and reintegration into the community.
