Description: This is a one semester chemistry course covering basic components in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry to establish the fundamental chemistry background in students who intend to participate in health science programs. In addition to the fundamentals in basic chemistry, the course is intended to provide a comprehensive basic knowledge in organic chemistry, biochemistry of the human body, health and nutrition.
